Regional Fisheries Groups (RFGs) are a way that the inshore fishing fleet to share their views with Defra, MMO, Cefas, Association of IFCAs and other relevant parties to contribute to discussions on collaborative working.
These groups arose from discussions during the Future of Inshore Fisheries Conference (FOIF) as well as within other advisory groups and intend to help working across the sector, and identifying priorities and thoughts on preferences within local areas
